When Jesus came near, he spoke to them. He said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. So wherever you go, make disciples of all nations: Baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teach them to do everything I have commanded you. "And remember that I am always with you until the end of time." Matthew 28:18-20 GW
This passage is known as The Great Commission and is Jesus' mandate to His church to make disciples where ever we go. At Broadmoor we promote Community OutReach on Saturdays at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. However, the Bible does not restrict us to any particular time or location. To truly obey The Great Commission we should take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself to tell someone about Jesus. There is no set method, just tell people what Jesus has done for you. In speaking of the believers victory over our enemy the devil, Revelation 12:11 says, "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."
So, we would love to have you join us on Saturday mornings but whether you can make it on Saturdays or not is no excuse. Jesus commands us to preach the gospel as we are going. My prayer is that you will diligently seek to obey the voice of the Master.
